Book Review – The North Star

I recently requested from my library two books by Peter H. Reynolds.    The North Star was one of them.

The North Star is a beautiful book.  Peter’s illustrations go perfectly with the text.  His pen and watercolor drawings are whimsical and sweet.  The story has a beautiful message about life and our decisions we make as we journey through it.  Here is what the book jacket reads:

It is often said that life is a journey, and it’s true.

But sometimes it’s difficult to know which path to follow

when signs point in so man different directions.

If you are looking for a book to give as a gift, I highly recommend this little gem. Also visit Peter H. Reynold’s site at FableVision. He has some great animated videos there. Here’s one for The North Star.

    • Thank you! Yes, I hadn’t read any of his stuff before. Which surprised me since I have read ALOT of books! I am glad my library got them in so others can enjoy them now also.
