I received my invite to the Pottermore Beta the other day. I was so excited! I had been anxiously awaiting the email invite since I did the Magic Quill event a few weeks ago.
Pottermore is the creation of writer, J.K. Rowling. It is based off the world of the Harry Potter series of books. Like Harry, the site user is a student at Hogwarts. They follow along with Harry’s journey through events in the books.
I believe this site has huge potential. One of the best things about it is the the extra content that JK Rowling has added to enhance your experience. Learning about how she came up with a certain character or why this place looks the way it does really makes the site unique. There are other great and interesting features, but I don’t want to spoil it for you.
Pottermore will be open to the public in October. It is sure to be a global hit, just like the books. If they keep adding content I see this site being very popular.
Now back to making potions, those sneaky Slytherins are trying to beat us in the House Cup!
