This will be the third annual Picture Book Idea Month. Created by author Tara Lazar this event is held every November. You can check it out here on her blog. Every day, for 30 days, guest writers give the participants creative ways to come up with their ideas.
The goal is 30 ideas in 30 days. I have participated every year (including being one of the grand prize winners!). I usually end up with more than 30 ideas. Some are worth pursuing – many are not. 🙂 But the main goal is to have FUN! And it is! I highly recommend it to all of my writer/illustrator friends.
